Alexander Kanevsky:Had Count Otto Von Bismarck inadvertently killed the Art?After Napoleon III was crushed by Bismark France Felt "Castrated" and on a peak of "Castration anxiety" destroyed greatest achievements of Art that she, France, was able to attain by the late 19th century (i.e. Picou, Bouguereau, Marquest, Ingres) instead paving a pathway to impressionism that seduced consequent artists to an opportunity to paint and express even without a knowledge of how to paint, efflorescing in all post impressionism countless movements, yet classical art stopped existing. .One might argue of course classical art had reached its limit, so there was merely a historical necessity for what happened. And yet, let me suggest that Art, especially classical can never reach its limit, by the very definition of Art. If someone shall argue about that I would like to hear.
