Alexander Kanevsky painting "Hamlet" (2003) commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Globe director Peter Kyle who wrote a letter to Alexander saying ' I have enjoyed the power, color, and vibrancy of your work for many years. 3 months later Peter traveled from London to Kanevsky gallery in New Haven, he cried out of joy in front of "Hamlet", "King Lear" and Alexander on the grave of Achilles, whereof the former Peter brought to the collection of the theater while the letter to his personal collection. Hamlet upon crossing the English border raised the eyebrows of custom officers staring at protruding through the coils of a snake Gertrude's breasts. But the site of the holy spirit brought them back to a reverential reality.
