 ALEXANDER KANEVSKY PAINTING "DAVID" (2000)

Michelangelo read in the Old Bible that prior to killing Goliath, young David in the woods encountered the attack of a lion and a bear and defeated both; Michelangelo did not paint animals; photography did not exist, visual representation of animals was not perfect,  Michelangelo was a perfectionist and neither lions, nor bears were crossing the streets of Florence and Rome; why Rubens did not pick up on this matter is a question; whether he missed it in a a bible of his time or was overwhelmed with other matters ostensibly more important, in any case Rubens's animals were depicted by his assistant, not by Rubens himself, as for the "Prometheus", the Eagle made the whole painting an unduplicable; similar to David stories of fighting with wild animals happened to a Syrian Princess Zenobia, which Kanevsky also depicted in a weave of atomic all concoring ecstasy, both David and Zenobia received much fame in Italy during Kanevsky sojourn there between 2013 and 2018. Related subject Michelangelo's "David", "David with a head of Galiah" Caravaggio, Donatello David, "David" by Pier Francesco Mola. Vatican Cardinals made a prayer in front of Alexander Kanevsky David. At the entrance of the Jubilee of Mercy in Rome in Nov 2016
